Miscellaneous FSOF information (FAQ!):
Operational Costs: We are a nonprofit organization. Our treasurer and the board work very hard to keep the running costs to a minimum. Membership dues provide financial resources to pay for music; artistic director/ accompanists’/ instrumentalists’ honorarium and other operational costs. Ideally if we all pay our fees, we break even at the end of the year financially but are richly rewarded as singers!
Repertoire: You will be given your own copy of all sheet music for the year. This music is considered purchased by the singers through your fees and is yours to keep.
Kurti Concert Attire: You will be assigned a Kurti to wear. You will also need black dress pants, tall black socks, solid black shoes (Tom’s – recommended) for concerts with the kurtis. Your Kurti will be returned to FSOF at the end of your time singing with us.
Retreat 2025: We are excited to have an official retreat again this year. Our focus for the year is returning to musical excellence. The desire is to work in a focused atmosphere to unlock all of our potential as an ensemble. The purpose of retreat is to help to forge bonds amongst the singers that allow us to perform and feel strengthened by our connection to each other and the music. Rooms and rehearsal space is included in your fee.

Attendance Policy: All members of the Festival Singers of Florida are expected to be present for every rehearsal and performance throughout the season. Additionally, missing a concert will result in a requirement to re-audition for the following season to continue singing with Festival Singers.
